Meet the Energy Efficiency Experts.
The Clear Energy team brings a depth of real-world experience with companies that have been in the forefront of sustainability and energy efficiency.
Stan Green, Bill Hodge and John McAdams conceived and managed energy efficiency projects touching thousands of locations and millions of square feet for Walmart Stores, Inc., one of the largest consumers of energy in the world. Stan led the retailer’s energy department and was responsible for all aspects of domestic energy spending, including energy procurement, efficiency projects in existing facilities and new technology testing. Bill was Mechanical Engineering Manager—Prototype Design for Walmart while John was Electrical Engineering Manager—Prototype Design. Their responsibilities included management of the mechanical and electrical engineering collectives for all store formats that executed over 300 projects annually, including efficiency improvements. Both were also Energy Engineers in the Walmart energy department where they focused on improving the efficiency of existing buildings and managed one of the largest energy efficiency projects in the world, a lighting retrofit program that involved almost 2,000 stores and all domestic distribution centers. They worked with teams in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Puerto Rico.
Tim Staley and Steve Williams led Comfort Systems USA Energy Services, the performance contracting division and wholly owned subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, one of the country’s largest mechanical contractors. As Senior Vice President, Tim founded the division that implemented projects around the country. As the Engineering Director, Steve was responsible for energy and financial analysis and the development of complex energy projects.
